Community Yoga.  Everyone is welcome to our community yoga class.  

Drop ins, first timers, and experienced students are all welcome.   

You do not need to be member of ETF.  We hope you will join us!

Yoga at ETF is not only a physical practice but also a mental and spiritual discipline.

Students emerge feeling relaxed, restored, grounded and happy.

Classes meet every Monday at 6:00 PM.  $10.00 per class.  Packages are available.  

Victoria Birk Hill.  We are pleased to have Victoria teach yoga at East Side Tennis & Fitness. She is a skilled yoga teacher with over 25 years of experience.  She has studied many different yoga disciplines – Iyengar, Bikram, Ashtanga, Anusara – in Boston, Miami, New York, and most recently Detroit.  Her classes are available to students of all levels and she encourages everyone to join in.



Our group fitness room is 50ft x 40ft, mirrored, and features a suspended wood floor. The room has a state-of-the-art sound system and is fully air conditioned.  The rest of the gym is fully furnished with everything you will need to have a great work out.  We take pride in keeping the facility clean, organized and safe so that you get the most out of you time spent with us.

The club features Cybex weight equipment and supplementary machines, Iron Grip free weights, Stairmaster FreeClimber, Quinton and Trotter treadmills, Precor elliptical cross trainers, Schwinn recumbent and upright bicycles, Concept II rowing machines, Broadcast Vision cardio theater, and much more.

Our gated, lighted, parking lot is available for use from 5:30am until closing. A guard is on duty at all times for your security. Please enter through the main gate and exit through the exit gate (or main gate).

Fitness Assessment


As part of your personal training, we are pleased to offer a complete fitness assessment and evaluation. Your fitness assessment is designed to help evaluate your current fitness level in these key areas: resting pulse and blood pressure, cardiovascular/aerobic capacity, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and body fat. Your fitness assessment will establish a baseline from which health and fitness improvements can be measured. A complete report and recommendations for optimum health will be created for you. This data, combined with your personal background and exercise history, will enable the trainer to design a complete, individualized exercise program with your specific goals in mind.



Spinning Studio

The spinning studio is new.  Spinning is designed for people of all ages and abilities.  It is based on the real road bicycling and cutting-edge training principles.  A separate, dedicated room with brand-new spin bikes are the pride of the club.  You don’t need any special skills to spin…just a desire to have a great time and burn those calories!!

Group Fitness Classes

We offer an extensive program of exercise classes designed to meet your fitness needs. Our regularly scheduled classes include aerobic, total fitness, yoga, sports training, kick-boxing, and more. These classes are open to all fitness club members at no additional fee. We offer classes that can be adapted to all fitness levels. All classes run for 60 minutes.

Power Circuit:
Get ready to have fun, burn fat, build muscle, and sculpt your entire body.  This workout combines classic basic exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, weights, and cardio.  This basic and effective workout is progress each week in order to get you in the best shape of your life.


Shed & Shred: 
This exciting fusion style workout blends everything from kickboxing and high/low aerobics to yoga and weight training in order to get you in incredible shape quickly.  With a workout that constantly changes, it will continually challenge your mind and body.


Maximize your metabolism while improving your health.  Lose those stubborn extra pounds with this whole body workout based on 20 minutes of cardio; 20 minutes of pilates; and an incredible 20 minutes of body sculpting using free weights and core stretching.  A fun way to lose weight and inches while increasing stamina and metabolism.


Blast away the inches with Tone & Trim!  This total body workout will define and sculpt your arms, legs, gluts, and abs.  Burn fat and increase your energy level using weights and resistance.  Each class ends with a relaxing stretch to relieve stress and make you feel fantastic!


Body Sculpt:
60 minutes using free weights and resistance bands and balls to condition muscles and increase body awareness.


60 minutes of indoor cycling sport, non-competitive, individually paced workout to promote well being.  New riders are always welcome. Please arrive a few minutes early for your first one or two classes.

The success of your fitness program can be measured after twelve weeks of training. This can be accomplished by a one hour post-test which will be compared to your initial pre-test. There is a fee for this assessment. We suggest re-tests on a regular basis to monitor your progress. Appointments can be made by calling the fitness center.
